Scope of Work

The Natural Gas Infrastructure Company (ETYFA) is a subsidiary of the Natural Gas Public Company (DEFA) and owner of all the infrastructure related to Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and its regasification through the floating unit (FSRU). The Electricity Authority of Cyprus participates in the property owner-ship of ETYFA with a percentage of 30%. Natural Gas (NG) will be initially channelled through the infrastructures of ETYFA to licensed power producers and at a later stage to other consumers. The creation of these NG infrastructures is one of the biggest projects of the Republic of Cyprus.
